Fête des mères

Monday, May 30th, 2005

DSCN2921 This is the present I gave Florence for mother’s day. It’s a very cool (imho) hand bag from the Dutch designers Vlieger & Vandam, and is part of their Guardian Angel collection. These are bags made from leather and felt and have either a knife or a pistol shown as an outline on the felt side of the bag. I think I saw them first here, although it could’ve been on boingboing as well.
Another picture of the bag. (I should mention that this post should be dated beginning of May, when I actually gave Florence the bag, but I seem unable to change the date …)

Etudes Théâtrales

Monday, May 30th, 2005

DSCN3172… is the title of the book that Florence has written with three of her colleagues, and which has finally been published by the venerable Presses Universitaires de France (puf). The book is available at Amazon.fr and other bookshops, however it’s quite confidential. It is particularly remarkable that the publisher managed to misspell the name of the “principal” author, ie Denis instead of Didier Souiller in their own catalogue (on page 24). Anyway, I am very proud of Florence. As would a certain neighbour of ours say: soon she’ll be on telly!

Referendum

Monday, May 30th, 2005

Keine Scheidung in Sicht ;-)
